In the last lesson, I mentioned that freelancers can make a hell of a lot of money.
How much can you earn?
Well, the truth is it depends. As you can see from the table below, the top freelancers are earning tons. The rest? Not so much…
I know many freelancers earning the top rates. Several of my former students charge effective hourly rates well over $250/hr!
But let’s get real for a minute. Those rates are what the top freelancers charge. Most freelancers won’t even make half that much.
They’re able to charge such high rates partly because they’re good at what they do… but do you really think they’re 4x or 5x as good as everybody else? OF COURSE NOT!
So how do they justify those rates? They’re good at selling themselves.
The top freelancers make prospective clients feel confident that their problems will be solved. When top freelancers make a proposal, clients feel like it would be stupid NOT to buy.
